Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MoonshotEdge, operated by Moonshot Edge LLC, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Service. We do not sell your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account info: email, display name, password hash, OAuth identifiers from Google.
• Profile and preferences: trade style, target multiple, account size, alert settings you provide during onboarding.
• Usage data: pages visited, scans run, signals viewed, trades tracked, device and browser metadata, IP address.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We store only the customer ID, subscription status, and billing period — not full card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, secure, and improve the Service
• To personalize signals, scoring, and alerts
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails (receipts, alerts, security notices)
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

3. Subprocessors

We use the following processors. They may receive personal data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — database, authentication, edge functions
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Cloudflare — hosting and DDoS protection
• Market data provider — real-time quotes and options data
• Google — OAuth sign-in

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your theme and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion sooner — see Your Rights below.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise these rights, email privacy@moonshotedge.app. We verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

7. Delete Your Account

Signed-in users can permanently delete their MoonshotEdge account from Settings > Account > Delete account. This removes the account and requests deletion of associated profile data. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@moonshotedge.app from the address connected to your account.

Records that must be retained for fraud prevention, legal, tax, payment, or dispute-resolution obligations may be kept only for the required period.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, hashed passwords, and leaked-password protection. No system is perfectly secure — notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our subprocessors operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses where required.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
