How MoonshotEdge Scores Plays

The score measures setup quality, execution readiness, mission fit, and risk. It is not a guarantee. Options can expire worthless.

01

Setup Potential

How interesting the ticker and setup are.

02

Execution Readiness

Whether the exact contract can trade cleanly now.

03

Mission Fit

How well it matches your budget, target, timeline, and risk.

04

Risk-Adjusted Score

Final quality after freshness, spread, liquidity, traps, and realism.

Score bands

These rate setup quality only — they are not permission to enter. A play can score Strong and still be watch-only or simulate-only if it fails a hard gate.

90–92

Elite

Rare setup with strong confirmation.

85–89

Excellent

Strong setup across the board.

75–84

Strong

Solid setup if the trigger confirms.

65–74

Moderate

Needs confirmation or carries moderate risk.

55–64

Weak

Thin setup quality.

45–54

Very Weak

Low-quality setup.

Below 45

Poor

Fails MoonshotEdge quality standards.

Why a higher raw score may not win

A strong setup can still be blocked by a stale quote, synthetic bid, wide spread, market closure, directional conflict, or unrealistic target path.

Why MoonshotEdge says No Clean Play

No Clean Play Found means no contract passed every hard gate. That is the system protecting you from a forced trade.

Market Prep vs live execution

When options are closed, MoonshotEdge shows setups and contracts to watch. Bid, ask, and spread must be verified after the market opens.

Use scores to

Compare setups, understand risk, avoid traps, and know when to wait, simulate, trim, or eject.

Scores do not

Guarantee profit, replace judgment, erase risk, or force a trade when no clean setup exists.
